Diagnosis is Not Prognosis

Having grown up with a mother who was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was very young, and watching her attitude about not just the diagnosis but more importantly about life, over the years I came to realize that my mother's biggest legacy are the things I had learned from her from those very times of her dealing with the illness. One of the most important ones is that - diagnosis is not prognosis.
When she was diagnosed, my mother was told that her life expectancy was 5 years.

She had lived 15 years after that moment - yes, that is 3 times longer.

The way she had dismissed those odds and lived a full life despite what the statistics had said, had impacted many people around her at the time. My mission is to keep spreading that impact and the lessons I learned from her.

As April is my mum's birthday month, the content I'm sharing on my social media as well as the monthly free meet-up will be focused on cultivating an empowered mindset in the face of health challenges of any kind.

Whether you are dealing with cancer - or any other medical condition, or you simply want to spend some time focused on yourself and your emotional well-being, I invite you to join me at one of the free events on the last Thursday of the month, 27th April 2023

p.s.
And finally - living with health anxiety can seriously affect the quality of life, something I experienced firsthand and had no support throughout other than relying on myself and my family.

This is why throughout April and May I am offering my services at 20% discount for clients dealing with cancer in some form, whether they are patients themselves, or family members and carers of cancer patients.

“The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious.
If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door.
If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door.
If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.”
